weekly progress..
So I lost five pounds this last week. Thanks to those who stopped by and left comments I hope you come back. I should also thank Mr. Contorversy Himself Peter Gunz. He is where I get alot of my nutrional information from. You can ask him health and fitness questions at http://web.mac.com/peter_gunz/Site/Welcome.html . Okay So I should say that many times I have not turned to the scale to check my progress. I have been hearing good things ,people telling me that I am looking like I am losing weight. They often ask how much wieght have you lost. My answer is I don't know. I usually track my progress by how well my clothes fit. Or by how good I feel. The reason for that is that is muscle weighs more than fat. The scale does not give an accurate depiction of ones real progress. Muscle gain may make it look like I made no real progress. Or even worse a person may lose muscle and think they are getting fitter cause they are losing wieght. But for the purposes of this blog I will count my pounds lost.

Congrats on the 5 lbs lost! Here's to not finding them.
Congrats Pedro, I have lost 40 pounds in 5 months, you have the right attitude! I am feeling wonderful with my new gift. I call it a gift, because I look at it that way every day! Good luck with what I call a new life style not a diet. I hate diets cause they never work, we just have to change bad habits. Good luck hon. See ya on facebook. Bev
Pete, I was excited to hear that you have been working on you. Keep up the good work. As always, you know what needs to be done...keep the persistance going on and you'll accomplish your goals! I look forward to hearing your progress...Oh yeah, I joined 24 hour fitness two weeks ago....$600 and I haven't been back in a week and a half.... Don't ask why, I have an eliptical machine at home that I use almost everyday! We need to get together...call me or something. Tina
That is a good point. I have been trying to lose weight for a while now and I noticed that the more often I weighed myself, the more discouraged I became.
I have since quit weighing myself and feel better emotionally.
