Be the bear....

A few years ago when I signed up at the gym, the owner John asked me why I was joining it. I didn't really have an answer just told him that is was time to lose weight. He leaned back and said " Come on you are doing it for the broads " . To which I responded , yes. I do have to say that recently I ran into an old friend..I have lost about thirty pounds since the last time she saw me, which was like four years ago. This time she was a little different, her body language had changed. I could tell that she was somewhat attracted to me. This suspicion was confirmed by my buddy who told me that she seemed to be interested in me. Amazing. I think one of the most important changes is in my confidence levels. I carry myself in a different manner I don't shy away from women as much as I used to. In fact I try to get as many smiles as possible.
Weight loss is not the only way to gain confidence, but the activities associated with it build confidence. Taking up swimming for example. I like to talk about swimming and how much it relaxes me. People always seemed impressed by the fact that I swim. It feels good to get some recognition for it. I also believe that you should dress to impress. Dont wait until you are skinny to try and look good in your clothes. Spend some money buy one outfit you look good in, maybe you will only wear once or twice but at least you can have a couple of good night of confidence boosting fun. I love to dress up, I cant wait to be thin a look really good in my suits .. I mean I look good in my suits , just cant wait to look better. So when it comes to the oppossite sex
I hear confidence goes a long way, a lot of women I have asked told me that they are attracted to confident men. To borrow from the movie swinger I say " be the bear". Go talk to that women you want to talk to. Learn how to dance salsa. Learn to be charming. Get ready for that one day when you are in your thin suit......I mean you want to have game by then right? So practice now.

Hey Pete,

Remember when you save my life at scout camp at the pool. You accomplished two things. You saved me from drowning and you swam a mile that day.

Keep going Pete.
